Sadar atau tidak sadar, all these following comments hurt me a lot. So, for everyone who might read this writing, please never pose those comments to anyone.
"Standardmu ketinggian pasti, jadi nggak ketemu-ketemu jodohnya"
But anyway, i don't need to tell them about what i'm thinking about my standard. As long as Allah knows, it's enough for me.
"Jangan terlalu sibuk mikir karir, nanti lupa mikir nikah"
But i'm sure, you don't even want to listen about what i'm thinking, you just want to judge, aren't you?
I have learned about this since I was in primary school, thanks for remind me. A hundred percent I realize that I'm not perfect, jadi bagaimana mungkin saya berpikir untuk mencari yang sempurna.
"Terlalu sibuk meneliti ini pasti, jadi lupa meneliti laki-laki"
Yes, I'm a researcher and perhaps I'm busy with my research. But, this comment is totally funny and irritate. I'm speechless.
Dear brothers, sisters,
Here I just wanna say, please put your words wisely.

A Meeting Point
![]() |
| This picture was taken at the car park of Trans Studio Mall, Makassar, Indonesia |
"With Him are the keys of the unseen, none knows them but He. He knows that which is in the land and sea. No leaf falls except He knows it, and there is no grain in the darkness of the earth, fresh or withered, but is recorded in a clear Book." ~Al-An'am:59
The verse reminds us to always realize that everything in this universe is under His control, Allaah The Almighty. It is certainly including with whom, when, and where we meet. That is why in this post I want to talk about "meeting point".

Rejection is The Best Motivation
"Unfortunately, both reviewers have declined your submission, hence we
cannot publish your paper in ******. One author mentioned that around half
the references are not in English, making it difficult for the readership
of ****** to unravel the paper. Analysis is somewhat lacking. There are
many unsupported (by references) statements that generally detract from the
quality and academic integrity of this paper."
~ a love letter from an editor of a journal
The e-mail break my hope for being a contributor in an international journal. Absolutely I am very disappointed for receiving the email after I have waited for more than three months.
Yet, I think a good (future) researcher will not respond this response by being down and hopeless. I am sure that even a great researchers with considerable citations also experience this kind of things.
I found that "rejection is the best motivation". I should learn from this experience. I should use the comments to make the paper be better. Then, someday, I must be one of the contributors of a journal with better index than the journal. Bismillah...Semangat...!!!
